About KPS and Amber

Like many of my peers, I did not find psychometry, rather it found me. I have been a psychometrist since 2004. I have a broad range of experience from testing children for learning disabilities to adults involved in medico-legal lawsuits to testing NFL players (Go Broncos!) suspected of concussions, and so on. During the course of my career, in 2011, I became board certified. Soon after, I served on the board of directors for the National Association of Psychometrists (NAP).

Upon moving to North Carolina in 2021, I saw huge need for "academic testers" in the homeschool community. It was also reinforced to me how hard it is for neuropsychologists to find well-trained psychometrists. KPS was launched to try and serve both needs.

Homeschool parents, I want to help you meet those annual testing requirements by the state.
